Nanga Parbat that is approximately 8126 m, popularly referred to as the “Killer Mountain,” is strategically located at the western end of the Himalayan Range. It is precisely the ninth steepest peak in the divine world and second in Pakistan, but is conceivably the most challenging of all prominent peaks to climb. Around 2 of the 3 specific routes to the foot of Nanga Parbat (the south and north face) offer excellent treks with magnificent views through dense pine forest.
